We follow an ambitious yet realistic sustainability strategy, continuously improving all aspects of our production, from materials and manufacturing to packaging and transport. We stay informed by the latest developments in the industry and work closely with partners who share our values. Because building a greener future is something we can only do together.
materials: thoughtful choices, long-lasting designs
Our product designers carefully weigh the environmental impact of every material we use. Whenever possible, we opt for high-quality porcelain, a material that offers both beauty and longevity. We also design with efficiency in mind—using only what’s necessary and selecting materials that extend a product’s life span. Choosing the right material for each design remains one of our most important sustainability priorities.





packaging: towards plastic-free solutions

Packaging offers great opportunities for improvement. We are actively working towards becoming completely plastic-free by researching and testing alternative materials such as recycled cardboard, tissue paper, and kraft paper.

While 5% of fragile products are still protected with Styrofoam, we trust our customers to recycle these materials responsibly. For all gift boxes and outer cartons, we strive to use FSC®-certified paper, and we’re in constant dialogue with our manufacturers to reduce packaging volume and avoid unnecessary plastic or cardboard use.
manufacturing: long-term partnerships with shared values
Our trusted network of manufacturers is mainly based in Asia, especially in China and India, where we’ve built strong relationships over many years. We work closely with our partners to ensure compliance with local laws and international standards, and we expect both existing and new suppliers to hold the necessary certifications.

At the same time, we are expanding production within Europe—partnering with ceramic workshops in Portugal, candle makers in Poland, and wool producers in the Baltic region. For every product, we consider where the expertise lies and which maker is best suited to bring the design to life in a responsible way.

certifications: what we stand for
FSC® – Forest Stewardship Council
We aim to use FSC®-certified paper and cardboard for all our packaging. This label guarantees that the material comes from responsibly managed forests, protects wildlife and biodiversity, and supports fair working conditions in the forestry industry.
